It was well into the late afternoon the day after the wedding before Le’Andra opened her eyes, she was laying in bed with her head laying on her husband’s muscular, tattooed chest. She could tell by the way he was breathing and the way he gently caressed her hair that he was already awake. She took a deep sigh of relief and hugged him.
Morning, Beautiful. He kissed her on the top of the head. By that deep breath, I know you’re glad it’s over.
And you’re not? She replied. Mother and I drove you crazy with all the planning.
At least I know what to expect the next time.
Really, Avi’? She sat up and looked at him, she thought about that tweet his ex-girlfriend, Allison Riggs-Preston’s made saying without the ugly in this world, there would be nothing beautiful.
You were joking, right?
Maybe, maybe not? You know how I like to surprise you and keep you guessing with what I am going to do next. He his cell phone vibrated on the night stand and he picked it up and quickly read the message from his twin, Vincent. He quickly got out of bed. Get dressed, Kjærlighet, we’re going to be late.
More of that surprising me and keeping me guessing? She asked and slipped from the bed.
Exactly. I’m going to go grab us some breakfast, be back in five, be ready.
Within a matter of minutes, Xavier was dressed and with a quick kiss her on the forehead was out the cabin’s door. Their relationship has been a strange one in the eyes of many; her family since she had married one of the younger brothers of the man her father once considered an enemy and with his, she almost appeared out of nowhere. She walked into the bathroom where the closet was and picked out a pair of jeans and a plain black shirt.
You did well last week, Serotonin and I wish you luck against Drucilla this coming week. I am sure that you will face her with the same kind zest and zeal you did with me. The matches we all enter in each week can go either way, it just happened that last week it went in my direction; this week in your match it might swing in favor of yours.
Same thing with the match I am in this week. Paris appears to be a substantial opponent, one who could give me a challenge if he shows in the ring the same he did as last week.
But this is my week.
He can try to claw his way through this match, but no matter what he tries to do, I will come out with the win.
There is no denying it...
Because this week, this week it’s the fate that I choose.
She quickly got dressed and wrapped her hair up in a messy bun; she sat down to put on her face but the door to the cabin opened and Xavier was calling her name.
In here, Avi’.
He came in the door carrying a couple cups of coffee and a white paper bag. As soon as he saw what she was doing, he shook his head no. No time for that, Le’. He pulled the make up brush from her hand and shoved the cup of coffee in. Drink. Vin said he’s almost done with his, so we got to hustle.
What are we doing?
Something you talked about doing. Was all he told her with a smile.
My man of mystery and intrigue.
Within 30 minutes, Le’Andra was sitting in a chair in her brother in law twice over, Vincent Black and his lady’s, Vhodka Marie’s room right beside the pool area. Her pants were off and she was wearing a robe. Baz Black, piercer and tattoo artist was there with his traveling cases filled with ink and tattoo guns. Le’Andra did what she said she was going to do if she won this year's Clan Wars and she got her a tattoo.
